(3)An introduction to teaching emphasizing the opportunities and challenges of educating children in an increasingly diverse society. Social, historical, cultural, and economic factors are considered as teacher candidates develop a personal philosophy of education which includes the influence of a Christian worldview on professional practice. Includes 30 hours of field experience.
Prerequisite(s): COMM 110; PSYC 121. Co-requisite(s): EDUC 122.
