CPSC 341 - Networking

An introduction to networking concepts and practice. Theory is introduced beginning with the major network layers. At each layer, the theory is applied to current Internet technology. Students will examine network security principles and practices for each layer as well as common attacks and defenses against them. Actual experience with networking in a lab environment is an integral part of the course.

Prerequisite(s): CPSC 231 or permission of the instructor.
