(4)A non-calculus-based introduction to the fundamentals of modern chemical practice; nuclear, electronic, and physical structure of matter; periodicity of the elements; dynamics of chemical reactions and equilibria. Includes one 3-hour lab per week.
Prerequisite(s): ACT math score ≥ 20 (SAT-Math ≥ 540) or grade of C- or higher in MATH 130.
