(4)This course expands the basic knowledge of physiology and pathophysiology which the student brings from practice and undergraduate nursing course work. This course explores physiological and pathophysiological processes of the human body. Principles and mechanisms of body function and body responses at the cellular, organ, and system levels are studied. In-class sessions = 3 credit hours; Out-of-class assignments = 1 credit hour. Year One-Fall Semester (of Two-Year Program) or Year Two-Fall Semester (of Three-Year Program).
